Who can take part

  • You must be 21 years old or younger.
  • You must have a high-risk blood cancer (like certain types of leukemia, MDS, or other rare blood cancers).
  • You must have a family member who is at least 18 years old and a half-matched donor (one parent is usually a match).
  • Your heart, kidneys, lungs, and liver must be working well enough for transplant.
  • You must not have had a stem cell transplant before.
  • You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
