  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You are not in prison or jail.
  • You do not have a chest wall defect, a paralyzed diaphragm, or a neuromuscular disease.
  • You do not have an open chest wound, flail chest, or a history of complex chest surgery.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 50 or less.
