Kidney nerve treatment for high blood pressure

Who can take part

  • Your average systolic blood pressure (top number) must be between 150 and 180 mmHg.
  • Your average diastolic blood pressure (bottom number) must be 90 mmHg or higher.
  • You must be willing to stop taking blood pressure medications for at least 13 weeks.
  • You must have adequate kidney function (not on dialysis and eGFR > 45).
  • You must not have severe heart conditions, untreated sleep apnea, or recent heart attack/stroke.
  • You must not be pregnant or planning pregnancy during the study.
