Who can take part
- Your average systolic blood pressure (top number) must be between 150 and 180 mmHg.
- Your average diastolic blood pressure (bottom number) must be 90 mmHg or higher.
- You must be willing to stop taking blood pressure medications for at least 13 weeks.
- You must have adequate kidney function (not on dialysis and eGFR > 45).
- You must not have severe heart conditions, untreated sleep apnea, or recent heart attack/stroke.
