Who can take part

  • Your sitting systolic blood pressure (the top number) is 130 mmHg or higher.
  • You've been on one or more blood pressure medicines for at least 8 weeks.
  • Your blood pressure is not severely high (not 180/120 mmHg or above).
  • You do not have unstable heart disease or kidney problems.
