Who can take part
- You are 18 to 80 years old.
- You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
- You have a diabetic foot ulcer on or below the ankle that does not expose bone or joint.
- Your ulcer has been present for 12 to 52 weeks and is between the size of a small pea and a large coin.
- Your blood sugar control is good (HbA1c less than 9%) and you have good blood flow to your foot.
- You are not currently smoking or using nicotine products, and you are not pregnant or planning pregnancy.
