Predicting diabetic eye disease with eye fluid markers

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You can understand the study and sign a consent form.
  • You either have no diabetes (healthy control) or have been diagnosed with diabetes (type 1 or type 2).
  • If you have diabetes, you must not have had any eye surgery before.
  • You do not have other serious eye diseases like glaucoma or macular degeneration.
  • You do not have severe health problems like heart disease, stroke, cancer, or serious liver/kidney disease.
