  • You have been diagnosed with diabetes
  • You are willing to follow the study rules and be available for the whole study
  • You do not have severe lasting vision loss in one or both eyes
  • You have not had eye injections, laser treatment for the retina, or eye surgery (except routine cataract surgery)
