Who can take part
- Be between 40 and 79 years old.
- Have been diagnosed with both coronary heart disease and chronic heart failure.
- Have heart failure symptoms that are mild to moderate, such as shortness of breath or fatigue with light activity.
- You must not have had a recent heart attack, stroke, or heart procedure (like stent or bypass) in the last 3 months.
- You cannot have severe irregular heart rhythms, severe high or low blood pressure, or certain other heart conditions.
- You cannot have severe liver, kidney, or blood disorders, or be pregnant or nursing.
