Who can take part
- You must be an adult (18 or older) diagnosed with HHT (a condition that causes abnormal blood vessels).
- You must have a confirmed genetic mutation in one of the genes linked to HHT (ENG, ACVRL1, or MADH4).
- You need to be part of the CIROCO study (a long-term research registry for HHT).
- Your iron level (ferritin) will determine which group you can join – some groups require iron levels above 25, while one group requires levels below 25.
- You cannot have received iron supplements (pills or IV) or a blood transfusion in the last 3 months, unless you are in the group that allows ongoing iron therapy.
- You should not have active cancer, a recent infection, or an autoimmune disease that alters your immune system.
