- You have severe leg artery disease that puts your foot at risk (chronic limb-threatening ischemia).
- The blockages are only in the arteries below the knee (infra-popliteal).
- You have not had a previous bypass surgery in the same leg.
- You have not had a previous atherectomy (plaque-removing procedure) in the leg.
- Your kidney function is not severely reduced (eGFR at least 30) unless you are on dialysis.
