Who can take part

  • Your baby was born before 29 weeks of pregnancy.
  • Your baby is either 8 to 22 weeks old with a BPD diagnosis at 36 weeks corrected, OR 7 to 30 days old and needed a breathing tube or strong breathing support at day 7.
  • Your baby does not have persistent low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) or lactic acidosis.
  • Your baby does not have feeding problems, kidney or liver issues, or an active infection.
  • Your baby does not have a birth defect that prevents feeding, and you are not choosing only comfort care.
