Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • This is your first time having an ablation for atrial fibrillation.
  • You have had persistent AF (lasting 7 days or more, but no longer than 3 years).
  • Your AF causes symptoms and you have tried at least one heart rhythm medication that didn't work well for you.
  • You have a recorded episode of persistent AF in the last 2 years.
