- You have persistent atrial fibrillation that lasts at least 7 days at a time or has needed multiple cardioversions
- You are willing to have a heart monitor implant after the procedure
- You have not had prior ablation for atrial fibrillation (except for certain types)
- You have not had a stroke or mini-stroke in the last 6 months
