Who can take part
- You are 14 years or older.
- You have acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) that has returned or not improved after standard treatment.
- Your doctor expects you to live at least 3 more months.
- You are able to take care of yourself most of the day (ECOG score 0-2).
- Your liver, kidneys, heart, and lungs are working well enough (based on blood tests and scans).
- You agree to use birth control or not have sex during the study and for 6 months after, if this applies to you.
