MitraClip for leaky heart valve in heart failure patients

Heart Failure and Reduced Ejection FractionFunctional Mitral Regurgitation

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This trial tests if the MitraClip device helps people with heart failure and a leaky mitral valve. It uses a special MRI to check how the heart responds to treatment.

NCT04396379Not yet recruiting
Testing a heart procedure for leak from the mitral valve

This trial studies an “epicardial” device placed during planned heart surgery to reduce mitral valve leaking (“mitral regurgitation”). If you have moderate-to-severe valve leak from ischemic heart disease and are already scheduled for heart surgery, this may help improve how well the valve works.

NCT06583876Recruiting
A new device for leaky mitral valves without open-heart surgery

This trial tests a new device for people whose mitral valve leaks badly (grade 3+ or 4+) and who are not candidates for surgery. The device aims to fix the leak through a less invasive approach, and the study checks if it's safe and works well in daily life.

NCT05292716Recruiting
MitraClip for advanced heart failure with leaky mitral valve

This trial studies whether the MitraClip procedure can improve outcomes for people with advanced heart failure caused by significant leakage of the mitral valve. It focuses on people who still have severe symptoms and poor quality of life despite the best available heart medications.

NCT06675448Recruiting
Best practices for heart failure with leaky mitral valve

This trial compares two treatment approaches for people with heart failure and a leaky mitral valve (mitral regurgitation). It aims to find which strategy leads to better outcomes. You may be eligible if your heart function is reduced and you have symptoms despite standard treatments.

MitraClip in Patients With Heart Failure

This study looks at how well a clip (MitraClip G4) fixes a leaky heart valve in people with heart failure. If you are scheduled for this procedure, joining may help doctors learn more about the benefits of the clip.

CardioClip study: testing a new valve repair for leaky heart valve

This study tests a new clip procedure (CardioClip) to repair a leaky mitral valve in people with heart failure. It aims to see if the clip can improve symptoms and heart function.
