Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You are willing and able to sign a consent form to participate.
- You are having surgery on the back of your neck (posterior cervical spine surgery) for a degenerative condition.
- Your surgery is for a pinched nerve (radiculopathy) or spinal cord compression (myelopathy) caused by wear-and-tear changes.
- Your neck problem is not caused by an infection, tumor, or recent injury.
