Who can take part

  • You are 19 years or older
  • You feel unsteady or have trouble walking
  • You can sit on the edge of a bed and stand for 10 seconds, even if you need support
  • You have some difficulty walking (considered level 3 or less on a walking ability scale)
  • You can follow simple instructions (a short memory test score of at least 20)
  • You have no severe leg problems such as untreated fractures, tight joints, or major leg length difference
