- You have been diagnosed with active, moderate-to-severe thyroid eye disease (TAO).
- You have not received steroid treatment for TAO in the past.
- Your eye disease is currently active (CAS score of 4 or higher on a 7-point scale).
- You do not have serious vision-threatening complications or other major eye problems.
- You are not pregnant or nursing, and you have no uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes, or serious heart, kidney, or liver disease.
