Who can take part
- You must have a kidney biopsy confirming IgA nephropathy that also shows signs of immune system activity (complement C3) within the last 3 years.
- Your urine protein must be at least 1 gram per day (or 1 gram per gram of creatinine) at screening.
- Your kidney function (eGFR) must be at least 45 mL/min/1.73m² (about 45% of normal function).
- Your blood pressure must be controlled (systolic under 140, diastolic under 90).
- You must not have nephrotic syndrome (very high protein loss and low blood albumin).
- You must not have other serious kidney diseases, infections, or immune problems that could interfere with the trial.
