Who can take part

  • You are between 12 and 70 years old.
  • You had a stem cell transplant from a donor (related, unrelated, or half-matched).
  • You have severe acute GVHD (grade III or IV) that did not improve with high-dose steroids.
  • Your blood counts are stable: neutrophil count above 1,000 and platelet count at least 20,000.
  • You can take oral medications and are expected to live more than 8 weeks.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding and agree to use birth control if needed.
