Who can take part

  • Age 18 or older at enrollment
  • Diagnosed with Grade III or IV steroid-refractory GVHD (severe GVHD that didn't improve with high-dose steroids)
  • Able to swallow oral medications
  • Blood counts showing neutrophil count greater than 1000 and platelet count at least 20,000
  • Karnofsky performance score of at least 30 (able to care for yourself with some help)
  • Not pregnant, not lactating, and willing to use contraception if of childbearing potential
