Who can take part

  • Had a first stroke within the last 6 months, and your condition is stable.
  • You have trouble swallowing (dysphagia) confirmed by a water swallow test.
  • Can sit upright for 30 minutes and have enough mental clarity to follow instructions.
  • Ages 18 to 80 years old.
  • No other reason for swallowing problems, no tumors or metal in your brain, and no severe vision, hearing, or mental health issues that would prevent participation.
