Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You had a brain hemorrhage confirmed by a CT scan, with a clot size of at least 20 mL
  • Treatment can start within 8 hours of your stroke symptoms (or when you were last known to be well) and the procedure done within 4 hours after starting the study
  • Before this stroke, you were able to carry on all usual activities without help (modified Rankin Score 0 or 1)
  • You or your legal representative agrees to join the study
