Who can take part

  • You are 5 years old or older.
  • You have gut GVHD that needs treatment with steroids (this is your first episode or it's combined with skin GVHD).
  • You are able to carry out daily activities (Karnofsky score 70% or higher).
  • You have not taken more than 72 hours of steroids or ruxolitinib for this GVHD before joining.
  • You do not have an uncontrolled infection, active cancer, or certain conditions like G6PD deficiency or sickle cell disease.
  • You are willing to stay at the transplant center for follow-up.
