Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have a liver biopsy showing NASH with at least some fibrosis (stage F1-F3) OR an MRI that shows your liver is at least 10% fat.
- You have had stable liver enzyme levels (ALT/AST) in recent tests, and your ALT or AST is not too high (less than 5 times the normal upper limit).
- You have not had significant weight change (5% in 3 months or 10% in 6 months) and you do not have a history of heavy drinking in the past year.
- You are willing to use effective birth control (if you or your partner could become pregnant) and avoid strenuous exercise before blood draws.
- You do not have other serious liver diseases, heart problems (like recent heart attack or uncontrolled heart failure), or uncontrolled diabetes.
