Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must be in the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) for COPD or a related breathing crisis.
- You (or your legal representative) must agree to take part in the study and sign a consent form.
- You cannot be pregnant.
- You cannot have injuries, burns, or skin problems that prevent placing small patches on your chest.
- You cannot have uncontrolled seizures or need a defibrillator.
