Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You are scheduled for a total knee replacement surgery.
  • No infection at the groin area where the numbing injection is placed.
  • Your BMI is 40 or less.
  • No nerve damage in your leg (femoral or saphenous nerve).
  • You are not pregnant, not a prisoner, and can understand English.
