Who can take part

  • You have a chronic subdural hematoma that is causing symptoms and needs treatment
  • Before this condition, you were able to do daily activities without major help (score of 0 to 3 on a scale called mRS)
  • You do not have an acute (sudden) subdural hematoma
  • You do not have another type of mass in your brain besides the subdural hematoma
  • If female, you are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You are expected to live long enough to complete the study
