Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- Your kidney function (eGFR) is between 30 and 89.
- You have albuminuria (protein in urine) with a UACR over 200 mg/g but under 5000 mg/g.
- You have high blood pressure with a systolic reading (top number) of 130 mmHg or higher.
- You are taking a stable dose of either an ACE inhibitor or ARB (blood pressure med) for at least 4 weeks.
- Your potassium level is within a safe range (usually 3.0 to 4.8 mmol/L depending on kidney function).
