Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and have just been diagnosed with Philadelphia chromosome-positive B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ B-ALL).
- You have leukemia cells in your blood or bone marrow that can be detected by special lab tests.
- Your liver and kidney function tests must be within certain limits (your doctor will check these).
- You have not had any prior chemotherapy for this leukemia, except for quick treatments to control symptoms or high white blood cell counts.
