- You are between 18 and 79 years old.
- You had a stroke diagnosed by a stroke specialist.
- You have a normal heart rhythm (not atrial fibrillation) at the time of your heart ultrasound.
- You had a complete heart ultrasound at UPMC Presbyterian with clear images to measure heart strain.
- Your medical records are available to track your health over time (like stroke recurrence, heart rhythm changes, or survival).
