Who can take part

  • You have a high-risk blood cancer (like acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, or chronic myeloid leukemia) that hasn't fully responded to treatment or has come back.
  • You need a stem cell transplant (bone marrow or peripheral blood), but you don't have a fully matched sibling or unrelated donor — only a 5-9 out of 10 match is available.
  • You are generally healthy enough to undergo a transplant (no severe other medical conditions).
  • Your transplant will use stem cells from the donor's blood or bone marrow.
