Study of AZD4063 for PLN R14del dilated cardiomyopathy

Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 80 years old and have a specific genetic mutation called R14 del in the PLN gene.
  • Your heart’s pumping ability (ejection fraction) must be 45% or less, as measured by an echocardiogram.
  • You must have a heart device like an ICD or CRT-D already implanted.
  • You need to be on stable heart failure medications for at least 6 weeks before the trial starts.
  • You cannot have other serious heart conditions, recent heart rhythm problems requiring treatment, or significant liver or kidney lab abnormalities.
