Who can take part
- You had a small stroke deep in the brain (lacunar stroke) in the past 7 days, confirmed on a CT or MRI scan.
- You must be 30 years or older.
- Your thinking and memory (MoCA test) should be above a certain level – varies with your education.
- You had no major disability before this stroke (able to do daily activities with little help).
- You cannot have certain other causes of stroke, severe heart problems, bleeding risks, or memory disease.
