Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has not spread to other parts of your body.
  • You are considered frail, meaning you are not healthy enough for surgery or standard chemotherapy (for example, due to other medical problems or because you have a Clinical Frailty Scale score of 4 or higher).
  • You are at least 19 years old.
  • You are able to give informed consent and are willing to receive carbon ion radiotherapy.
