  • You are 65 years old or older.
  • You are scheduled for heart valve surgery that uses a heart-lung machine.
  • You have not had a serious allergic reaction to remimazolam before.
  • You do not have a major memory or thinking disorder (like dementia), severe depression, or schizophrenia.
  • You are not dependent on alcohol or other drugs.
  • You can understand and agree to participate in the study, and you are not in another conflicting clinical trial.
