  • You have had your first-ever stroke, and symptoms started within the last 72 hours.
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder or other blood disease.
  • You do not have severe heart, lung, liver, or kidney disease, or active cancer.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
