Who can take part
- You are 22 years or older.
- You are scheduled for a TAVR procedure (a valve replacement through an artery in your leg) to fix your aortic valve.
- The pumping strength of your heart (left ventricular ejection fraction) is at least 30%.
- You have not had a stroke or mini-stroke in the last 6 months, and have no major disability from a past stroke.
- Your kidneys are working well enough (eGFR of 30 or higher).
- You haven't had a heart attack in the last 30 days.
