Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You are having a non-emergency robot-assisted surgery on your belly or pelvis.
- Your surgery is expected to last at least 2 hours.
- You will have general anesthesia and be woken up right after surgery.
- You are not pregnant.
- You do not already have a breathing tube or tracheostomy.
- You can safely have a small pressure monitor placed in your esophagus or a belt around your chest to track breathing.
