A study on VMX-C001 for urgent surgery while on blood thinners

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You need urgent surgery that has a high risk of bleeding.
  • You must be taking a Factor Xa blood thinner (like apixaban or rivaroxaban) and have a significant level of it in your blood.
  • You must be willing to use reliable birth control if you can become pregnant or father a child.
  • You cannot have other conditions that increase bleeding risk, be on certain other blood thinners, or have certain health problems like severe infection or shock.
