Tofersen for ALS without SOD1 or FUS mutations

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older with a confirmed ALS diagnosis.
  • Your muscle weakness due to ALS must have started within the last 24 months.
  • You must have had genetic testing showing you do not have SOD1 or FUS mutations.
  • Your lung function (SVC) must be at least 50% of what is expected for someone your age, sex, and height.
  • You cannot have had prior treatment with certain other ALS drugs or gene therapies.
  • If you take riluzole or edaravone, you must be on a stable dose for a specific period before starting the study.
