Who can take part

  • You had surgery for DCM (degenerative cervical myelopathy) more than 12 months ago and still have trouble with balance.
  • You do not have uncontrolled heart or lung disease, unstable health conditions, or seizures.
  • You do not have an active implanted medical device (like a pacemaker) or a skin problem where the electrodes would go.
  • You are not pregnant, and you are able to give consent.
  • You are not currently doing physical or occupational therapy for any condition.
