Who can take part

  • You have a chronic spinal cord injury in your neck area (cervical spine).
  • You can still pick up and hold objects, but it's clearly harder than before.
  • You do not have any other health condition or injury that affects your grip.
  • You do not have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or other implanted electrical device.
  • Your hand muscles must respond to mild electrical stimulation to help with grasping.
