Who can take part
- You have had a TIA or stroke caused by a narrowed brain artery within the artery’s affected area.
- Your imaging shows at least 50% narrowing in a major brain artery (internal carotid, vertebral, middle cerebral, or basilar).
- Your narrowing was measured using a catheter-based X-ray test called digital subtraction angiography.
- You do not have an arteriovenous malformation (an abnormal tangle of blood vessels).
- You do not have an aneurysm (a weak, bulging blood vessel).
