Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and have been diagnosed with an ischemic stroke (stroke from a blocked blood vessel).
- A brain scan (CT or MRI) shows evidence of the stroke either soon after it happened or within 1-2 days.
- You had a heart procedure (like a stent, heart valve repair, or closure of a hole in the heart) within 28 days of the stroke.
- You or a family member can give written permission to join the study.
