Telisotuzumab Vedotin and Osimertinib for Advanced Lung Cancer

Lung Non-Small Cell Carcinoma

Treatments studied

Part of Cancer, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This trial tests a combination of two drugs—telisotuzumab vedotin and osimertinib—for people with a specific type of advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has stopped responding to osimertinib alone. The goal is to see if adding the second drug can help control the cancer.

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older and have advanced non-small cell lung cancer with an EGFR mutation (except certain types like exon 20 insertions).
  • Your cancer must have gotten worse while taking osimertinib, and your doctor thinks you can still take it.
  • A tumor sample taken after osimertinib stopped working must show high or intermediate levels of a protein called c-MET.
  • You need to have measurable disease on scans and be in good enough health to get around and take care of yourself (ECOG score 0-1).
  • You cannot have had certain lung problems like pulmonary fibrosis or active inflammation of the lungs.
  • You must have adequate kidney, liver, and blood cell counts, and agree to use effective birth control if needed.

NCT06014827Recruiting· Phase 2
Targeted radiation and osimertinib for lung cancer with EGFR mutation

This trial tests a new approach for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific EGFR mutation (Ex19del or L858R) and has started to grow again after at least six months on osimertinib. It combines two types of focused radiation with continued osimertinib to treat only the progressing spots while keeping the rest of the disease under control.

Telisotuzumab adizutecan and osimertinib for EGFR-positive lung cancer

This trial tests a new drug combination (telisotuzumab adizutecan plus osimertinib) as a first treatment for adults with a specific type of advanced lung cancer that has an EGFR mutation. The goal is to see if the combination is safe and works better than standard care.

NCT05037331Recruiting
Osimertinib for advanced EGFR-mutated lung cancer

This trial studies osimertinib in people with advanced or metastatic lung cancer that has specific EGFR gene changes. It aims to see how well this targeted medicine can control the cancer when surgery or radiotherapy won’t work.

Singapore
NCT07155187Recruiting· Phase 2/Phase 3
Study of telisotuzumab adizutecan for EGFR-mutated lung cancer

This trial tests a new drug, telisotuzumab adizutecan (given through a vein), alone or with another targeted therapy, versus standard treatments for people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer that has an EGFR mutation and has gotten worse after previous treatment.

NCT03191149Recruiting· Phase 2
Osimertinib for lung cancer with an EGFR exon 20 change

This Phase 2 study tests osimertinib (a targeted lung cancer pill) in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors have an EGFR exon 20 insertion. It aims to see how well osimertinib works for this specific EGFR mutation and how safe it is.

NCT07375316Recruiting· Phase 2
Combination therapy for EGFR-mutated lung cancer with lingering ctDNA

This trial tests if adding sacituzumab tirumotecan to osimertinib works better than osimertinib alone for advanced lung cancer that still shows cancer DNA (ctDNA) in the blood after initial osimertinib treatment.
