Who can take part

  • You must be 20 years or older
  • You must have diabetes-related kidney disease with stable kidney function for at least 30 days
  • Your estimated kidney function (eGFR) must be below 90
  • You cannot have severe malnutrition, anemia, or active bleeding
  • You cannot have had antibiotics or probiotics in the last 3 months
