Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a new breathing problem (like cough, shortness of breath, or needing oxygen) that started within the last 2 weeks.
  • You must be in the hospital and need ongoing care.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You cannot already be on powerful immune-suppressing medicines (like systemic steroids, monoclonal antibodies, or certain chemotherapy drugs).
  • Your blood counts and liver/kidney function must be within safe limits as checked by your doctor.
