Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 80 years old.
  • You had a brain CT scan showing a spontaneous bleed in the upper part of the brain (not caused by injury or other condition).
  • The bleed size is between 15 and 40 ml on the CT scan.
  • Your symptoms started within the last 48 hours.
  • You have a moderate to severe stroke (NIHSS score 8 to 24) and are awake enough to follow commands.
  • You or your legal representative can sign a consent form.
