Who can take part
- You must be 15 years old or older. (If you're 15 to 17, your doctor will check safety data first.)
- You must have severe aplastic anemia (SAA) or very severe aplastic anemia (VSAA), as diagnosed by your doctor using standard blood and bone marrow tests.
- You cannot have any other bone marrow disease (like Fanconi anemia, MDS, or a history of bone marrow transplant).
- You cannot have received certain treatments for aplastic anemia, such as ATG, alemtuzumab, or cyclosporine for more than 4 weeks, or a TPO-RA (like romiplostim or eltrombopag) for more than 14 days.
- Your bleeding and infection must be under control, and you cannot have an active CMV or EBV infection.
